Eternal Flame

Image
Beneath the stars, where fates entwine, Two destined souls cross love’s design. Like twin flames burning, fierce and bright, They find each other in the night. Though distance spreads, their bond remains, A bridge unbroken by the plains. True love defies both time and space, It finds a way, a sweet embrace. Their hearts were forged in cosmic fire, Drawn together by divine desire. No accident, their meeting's true, A destiny for just these two. Through every storm, their spirits dance, Unyielding to the fleeting chance. For soulmates know, beyond above, The timeless strength of endless love. Each life they live, each path they choose, Their souls will find, they cannot lose. A love so deep, it bends the skies, Forever joined where meaning lies. And when they part from earthly days, Their essence lingers, always stays. Two souls as one, in realms unseen, The truest love, eternal dream. For XZ

The Greatest Role You Never Played

Image
In the quiet wings of life's grand stage, A role of deception, cloaked from view, Where separation whispered, "I'm here for you." True love flickered in fleeting sighs, A tough love cast through softened lies. Distance grew like shadows near, Yet I held your lines, sharp and clear. You linger still, a ghostly shade. Your voice, a whisper lost in time, Echoes soft, yet steeped in rhyme. You taught me strength in words unsaid, In stolen glances, love unread. A quiet force, unseen, unknown, The way you hold me, all alone. Though oceans vast now lie between, And moments pass like faded scenes. You wore a mask, turned every page, In corridors where memories fade, A silent part in my heart drawn. You’re the chapter left unmade, A parting written in life’s cruel script, Of lips unkissed, of hands that slipped.                                                ...

I Forgive Myself with Love

I forgive myself with love, A gentle touch, a softened voice, In forgiveness, I make a choice, Embracing who I’ve been and who I’ll be, Releasing shame to set my spirit free. I forgive myself with love, In forgiveness, I find release, For fears that stole my inner peace. With open arms, I draw me near, And welcome back each hidden tear. I forgive myself with love, Forgiveness for each scar and broken dream, For times I faltered, lost in the stream. I see the strength within each pain, And know my heart can heal again. I forgive myself with love, With forgiveness, I let the healing come, A softer heart, no longer numb. In grace, I gather all I am, And meet myself where I began. In the warmth of kindness, I rise anew, Through forgiveness, I am made whole, A lighter heart, a peaceful soul. I, Empress

If The Sky Falls

Losing my dad at an early age left me with memories that feel like treasures, small pieces of him that I carry with me every day. One of my clearest memories was his reassuring promise: "If the sky falls, I will hold it up for you." Those words were his way of saying he'd always be there for me, no matter what life threw my way. He was my protector and best friend, and in every memory, he was right there, with that steadfast love guiding me forward. From early morning jogs to our afternoons at McDonald’s, his presence remains vibrant in the details of my childhood. One of my favorite memories with him involved our dog, a playful and energetic German Shepherd named King Pin. I have no complaint of the name but I'd rather name it... Brownie, Scooby or JJ. King Pin was more than just a pet; he was family. Early in the mornings, my dad would wake me up before the sun had fully risen, and we would go jogging together with King Pin by our side. The three of us moved like a ...

The Last Ember

We were two sparks in the dark, Bound by a fire, too fierce to mark— A flame that burned both bright and wild, A twin flame's dance, tender yet riled. I felt the pull, deep in my soul, The echo of you, making me whole. But hearts can't always find their way, And love can't always choose to stay. Soul ties stretched like threads of gold, Woven together, yet we were cold. Your touch was warmth, but the silence tore, And all that was left—an open door. I chased your shadow in the night, Hoping to heal, hoping to make it right. But you ran too fast, slipped through my grasp, Leaving me alone in a fractured clasp. A twin flame burns with both fire and fear, A love so deep, yet so unclear. We’re drawn together, then torn apart, Leaving scars that will never depart. You were my mirror, my reflection’s grace, But the reflection is gone, I can’t find your face. The ties we shared have frayed and strained, And in the silence, my soul remains. I carry your abse...
